Seahawk Sun Run

The Seahawk Sun Run, part of the North Carolina Azalea Festival, will take place at UNCW on February 15, 2025. This event features a 5K and a 1-mile run/walk, allowing participants to enjoy the scenic Longleaf Trail on the UNCW campus. The race aims to foster community engagement, with proceeds supporting the North Carolina Azalea Fellowship in Volunteerism and Civic Engagement and the local non-profit paws4people, which trains assistance dogs.

Participants who register by January 31, 2025, will receive a race shirt, and awards will be given to the top finishers in the 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
