Polar Plunge & Run

The Polar Plunge & Run is a unique event held at Kure Beach, NC, featuring a variety of activities including a 5K run, a 1-mile fun run/walk, and a thrilling plunge into the Atlantic Ocean. Participants can choose to run, plunge, or do both, all while supporting a great cause—Special Olympics New Hanover County, which provides sports training and events for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
