Drumstick Dash 8 Miler

The Drumstick Dash 8 Miler is a festive running event held on Thanksgiving Day, inviting participants to celebrate the holiday with a fun run. The event features a scenic, flat out-and-back course along the Mount Vernon Trail, extending to Teddy Roosevelt Island. Runners can enjoy a chip-timed race, receive a finisher's medal, and a technical event shirt.

A virtual race option is also available for those unable to attend in person. Proceeds support the John P. Mayhugh Foundation, which focuses on improving outcomes for individuals facing challenges related to post-traumatic stress and addiction.
