Chernisky Classic

The Chernisky Classic is an annual running event held in Ebensburg, PA, featuring a 5K run/walk and a 10K run along the scenic Ghost Town Trail, recognized as the 2020 DCNR Trail of the Year. Scheduled for July 5, 2025, this family-friendly event includes a free Firecracker Race for children aged 8 and under, with firetrucks and firefighters present to engage with kids. Proceeds from the event support the Training Facility of the Cambria County Regional Firefighters Association.
