Cape Fear Marathon

The Cape Fear Marathon & Half, organized by AdventureCORPS, takes place on Bald Head Island, North Carolina. This event features both a full marathon (26.2 miles) and a half marathon (13.1 miles), showcasing the island's scenic, car-free roads and a stunning beach stretch around Cape Fear. Participants will start and finish at Old Baldy, the oldest lighthouse in North Carolina.

The race emphasizes sustainability with a "cupless" format, requiring runners to bring their own hydration solutions. All entrants receive a tote bag with race essentials, and finishers are awarded a medal. A post-race burger party is also included for competitors.
