Arrowhead 135
The Arrowhead 135 is a challenging ultra-marathon held in the depths of winter across Northern Minnesota, recognized as one of the toughest endurance races globally. Covering 135 miles on the Arrowhead State Snowmobile Trail, participants can choose to compete on foot, skis, or bicycles. The event typically experiences extreme cold, with temperatures often plunging to -30 to -40°F, and a finish rate around 50%, significantly lower for first-time racers.
Organized by dedicated volunteers, the race also supports charitable causes, including scholarships for children of U.S. Special Operations personnel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
