Winter Georgetown Half

The Winter Georgetown Half is a running event taking place in January, featuring a half marathon, 10K, and 5K along the scenic Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path in Georgetown, near the Nation's Capital. Participants can enjoy a unique Shirt Swap Run, where they can select from a variety of old event shirts. The event supports the charity Medals4Mettle®, donating medals to individuals facing health challenges.

Runners receive a finisher's medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. The event is open to walkers and strollers, with a virtual race option available for those unable to attend in person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
