Wild Thangs Trail Series

The Winter Wild Thangs Trail Series is an exciting new trail running event taking place in the scenic mountains of Huntsville, AL. Designed for both novice and experienced runners, the series features three races with varying distances, including 5-mile, 10-mile, 10K, half marathon, 15K, and 30K options. The series runs from December to January, providing a competitive yet fun environment for participants, especially those training for the Mountain Mist 50K.

Runners can enjoy beautiful bluff views, creek crossings, and aid stations stocked with refreshments. Each participant receives a series t-shirt and finisher awards, with delicious Marco's Pizza waiting at the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
