Vermont 100 Endurance Race
The Vermont 100 Endurance Race is a prestigious ultramarathon that challenges athletes with a 100-mile and a 100-kilometer course through the scenic southern Green Mountains. Established in 1989, it is one of the oldest 100-mile races in the United States and features a unique concurrent horse race. Participants face a demanding course with 17,000 feet of elevation gain, navigating country roads and forested trails.
The event not only tests endurance but also supports a noble cause, as all proceeds benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports, which empowers individuals with disabilities through sports and recreation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
