Union Mills Wilderness Runs

The Union Mills Wilderness 5K, 10K, and Virtual Run, formerly known as the Box Creek Event, is set to take place on February 22, 2025, in Union Mills, NC. This annual event features both in-person and virtual options for participants, allowing them to choose between a timed 5K or 10K run. The scenic courses will take runners alongside the Second Broad River and around Rocky Face Mountain.

Participants in the virtual events will receive a finisher medal, T-shirt, and goodie bag by mail. Proceeds from the event will support building upgrades and educational programs at the Union Mills Learning Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
