The Robert Van Tassel “Live the Dash” Memorial 5k

The Robert Van Tassel “Live the Dash” Memorial 5k, sponsored by the Chelsea Fire Company, is an annual running event held in Chelsea, NY. This event features a 5K run/walk and a Kids 1-mile race, aimed at benefiting the Chelsea Fire Company and supporting the Robert Van Tassel “Live the Dash” scholarship for Beacon High School seniors who exemplify sportsmanship and commitment to their running goals. The race honors Bobby Van Tassel, a dedicated community member and passionate runner, who coordinated the event for many years.
