Tamalpa Headlands 50K

The Tamalpa Headlands 50K is a challenging ultramarathon set in the scenic Marin County, California, featuring a single-loop course that showcases iconic trails such as Coastal, Miwok, and Dipsea. Established in 1998, this event offers approximately 6,500 feet of elevation gain, combining fast fire road sections with steep climbs and technical trails, all while providing breathtaking views of the Bay Area and Pacific Ocean. The race starts and finishes at Santos Meadows, just south of Muir Woods, and includes well-stocked aid stations along the route.
