Swanzey Covered Bridges Half-Marathon

The Swanzey Covered Bridges Half Marathon, also known as Elijah's Race, is an annual running event held in memory of its founder, Elijah Barrett. The race aims to support students at Monadnock Regional Middle-High School. The course features mostly flat terrain with some gentle hills, showcasing the scenic covered bridges of Swanzey, New Hampshire.

Runners will experience a mix of paved roads, improved railroad beds, and dirt trails, with a total elevation gain of 300-400 feet. After the race, participants can enjoy a post-race barbecue hosted by the MRMHS Band Boosters, making it a community-focused event for runners of all skill levels.
