Shire / Giant Texas 5K Fun Run

The Shire / Giant Texas 5K Fun Run is a unique running event taking place in the historic Houston East End's distillery district. Scheduled for February 8, 2025, this fun run features a USATF certified and chip-timed 5K course. Participants can also register as "Sleep-In Supporters" to show their support from home.

The event benefits The Village Connect, a non-profit organization focused on helping those at risk of homelessness in Houston. Participants who register by January 23, 2025, are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Post-race celebrations will be held at the Shire and Giant Texas Distilleries.
