Santa Cruz Island Eco-Extreme Trail Half Marathon

The Santa Cruz Island Eco-Extreme Trail Half Marathon is a challenging 13.5-mile trail race held on November 2, 2024, on Santa Cruz Island in Channel Islands National Park. Organized by the Ventura County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Upper Ojai Team, the event features rugged terrain, steep hills, and scenic views, with proceeds benefiting charity. The primary course, the new Isla Course, offers a unique wilderness experience facilitated by The Nature Conservancy and UCSB Research Center.
