Run Wild Races

Run Wild Races is a bi-annual event held at the Metro Richmond Zoo, designed to promote animal conservation while providing a fun and engaging experience for participants. The event features three race options: a 1 Mile run, a 5k, and a Wild Ninja obstacle course, allowing participants of all ages to join in. Proceeds from the races support conservation efforts for vulnerable species, particularly lions, which face significant threats from habitat loss and poaching.
