Run for the Turtles

The 39th Annual Run for the Turtles is a fundraising event taking place on Siesta Beach, aimed at supporting endangered sea turtles. Participants can choose to run, walk, or crawl in various formats, including a 1-Mile Fun Run, a Virtual Fun Run, and a 5K sanctioned by the Manasota Track Club. This event has a rich history, having raised significant funds for Mote’s Sea Turtle Conservation & Research Program, which conducts vital monitoring and protection efforts for sea turtles along local beaches.
