Run for the Rare

Run for the Rare is an event organized by Haley's Heroes Foundation to raise awareness for rare diseases, particularly in support of International Batten Disease Awareness Day. Scheduled for June 8, 2025, in Salem, Oregon, the event features a 10k, 5k, and a 1-mile fun run/walk, encouraging participation from all ages. With 1 in 10 people affected by rare diseases, and many lacking FDA-approved treatments, this event aims to foster community support and advocacy.
