Run for Rescues

Run for Rescues is a 5K event taking place in Sykesville, MD, organized by Safe Haven Equine Warriors (SHEW). This timed race aims to raise funds and awareness for horses in life-threatening situations, focusing on the rescue, rehabilitation, retraining, and rehoming of equines suffering from neglect or abuse. Participants will receive a unique horseshoe medal upon completion, with medals guaranteed for all finishers who register by October 31, 2024.
