Run For Kids Challenge
The Run For Kids Challenge is a fundraising event held at Oak Mountain State Park, benefiting Smile-A-Mile, an organization that supports families affected by childhood cancer. Established in 2011, the event features a 12-hour challenge and a 10K race, with all proceeds donated to Smile-A-Mile. Participants can also join the Kids Half, a free 0.5-mile race for children.
The course consists of a 3.4-mile loop, with runners completing multiple laps based on their chosen event. The challenge aims to raise awareness and funds while providing a supportive community for participants and families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
