Reston Triathlon

The Reston Triathlon, a community staple since 1984, features a challenging Olympic distance event that includes a 1500-meter swim, a 25-mile bike ride, and a 10K run. Scheduled for September 7, 2025, it also offers an Aquabike and an Olympic Relay option. Due to safety concerns regarding cyanobacteria in Lake Audubon, the event has transitioned to a duathlon format, replacing the swim with a 4K run.
