Race for Hope DSM
The Race for Hope DSM is an annual running event held in Des Moines, Iowa, aimed at raising awareness and funds for brain tumor research. Inspired by a local teen diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, the event began in 2013 and has since raised over $700,000 for the cause. Participants can choose from various events, including a Kid's Fun Run, 2K, 5K, 10.1K, and a virtual option.
The race fosters community spirit, honors those affected by brain tumors, and celebrates survivors, all while keeping operational costs low to maximize donations to brain tumor organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
