Pony Express Trail Run
The Pony Express Trail Run features two ultramarathon events: a 50-mile and a 100-mile race, set on the historic Pony Express Trail in western Utah. The course is entirely on dirt roads, with a total elevation gain/loss of approximately 3,000 feet, making it suitable for both first-time ultrarunners and those seeking personal records. Participants must have a support crew to provide food and water along the remote route.
The race begins at Lookout Campground, with the 100-mile runners heading to Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge and back, while the 50-mile runners finish at the Blackrock Pony Express station site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
