Pony Express Trail Run

The Pony Express Trail Run is a scenic trail running event held at Rampart Reservoir, featuring two distance options: 8.5 miles and 16 miles. Set at an elevation of over 9,000 feet, participants can enjoy beautiful single-track trails, creeks, and local wildlife amidst Colorado's autumn scenery. The event is intentionally kept small, with a participant limit of 100 to minimize trail impact.

Runners are encouraged to bring their own hydration and nutrition, as there are limited aid stations. Each finisher receives a unique commemorative award, celebrating the spirit of all participants rather than focusing on competitive rankings.
