Pére Malfait Trail Race

The Pére Malfait Trail Race takes place at Bussey Brake in Bastrop, Louisiana, featuring three race distances: 50K, 16 miles, and 8 miles. Named after a Cajun folklore creature, the event combines local culture with outdoor adventure. Participants can enjoy a scenic, flat trail around the Bussey Brake Reservoir, ideal for hiking and biking.

All registrants receive a T-shirt, sunglasses, and a coffee mug, while finishers earn a medal. The top three male and female finishers will receive custom medal holders.
