Northern Nipmuck Trail Race

The Northern Nipmuck Trail Race is a 16-mile trail running event held in Union, Connecticut, at Bigelow Hollow State Park. Revived in 2022 after a hiatus, the race maintains a low-key atmosphere and a friendly community vibe. Participants navigate a scenic course along the Nipmuck Trail, with minimal aid stations provided.

The event is capped at 80 runners, and registration opens on January 1, 2025. Proceeds from the race support local trail organizations, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the area's natural resources.
