Mountain Mist

Mountain Mist is a renowned 50K trail run held annually in Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, Alabama. Celebrating its 31st year, this event showcases the rugged beauty of the park with rocky trails, steep climbs, and scenic views. Participants navigate through challenging terrain, including creek crossings and the infamous Waterline Trail, with a total elevation gain of approximately 4,300 feet.

Registration is limited to 525 runners, and strict time limits are enforced to ensure safety. The event emphasizes a headphone-free environment to enhance camaraderie and safety among participants.
