Mountain Fork Half Marathon

The Mountain Fork Half Marathon is a scenic 13.6-mile race set to take place on September 21, 2025, starting and finishing at the High Knob Observation Tower in Norton, VA. The course winds through the picturesque Mountain Fork watershed, primarily on Forest Service roads, with a total elevation gain of 1,600 feet. Participants will enjoy breathtaking views from the tower, which stands at 4,200 feet and offers a 360-degree panorama of five states.
