Moonlight On Mt Ascension Trail Run

The Moonlight on Mt. Ascension Trail Run is a unique nighttime running event held in Helena, Montana, organized by the Helena Ultra Runners League (HURL). Participants tackle a modified figure 8 loop course that spans 11.57 miles with an elevation gain of 2,645 feet per loop, all on singletrack trails.

Runners have 12 hours to complete as many loops as possible, navigating the scenic yet challenging terrain that may include encounters with local wildlife.
