Midnight Special

The Midnight Special 5K is a unique New Year's Eve running event held in Toledo, Ohio, where participants can run into the new year. The race features a 5K run and a virtual option, allowing runners to join from anywhere. The course is an out-and-back route along the University Parks Trail, starting at Patron Saints Brewery.

Participants are encouraged to wear lights as the course is not fully lit. Awards are given for overall male and female winners, and the first 150 finishers receive a pint glass.
