Memorial Day Trail Run

The Memorial Day Trail Run, part of the Southeastern Trail Series, takes place on May 25, 2025, at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, AL. Participants can choose between two distances: 6 miles and 12 miles, featuring challenging climbs, including the ascent to Shackleford Point, the park's highest point. Active military members can register for free, while retired military receive a discount.

The event includes awards for overall and age group winners, as well as special categories for heavier runners. Packet pickup occurs on May 24 and race day morning. A $5 park entry fee applies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
