Leatherwood

The Leatherwood 100 is an exciting running event taking place at Leatherwood Resort in Ferguson, NC, featuring multiple race distances: 100 miles, 50 miles, 50K, and 25K. The course, primarily on private horse trails, offers beautiful shaded paths and scenic overlooks. Due to recent hurricane damage, the route has been adjusted to a 10-mile loop with an additional aid station for safety.

Participants can expect a fully stocked aid station and unique handmade pottery medals for finishers. The event promotes a welcoming atmosphere for both runners and walkers, with a 36-hour cutoff for the 100-mile race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
