Judy M. Merritt Memorial 5K

The Judy M. Merritt Memorial 5K & Family Fun Day is an annual event held in Birmingham, Alabama, to honor the legacy of Dr. Judy M.

Merritt, the first female president of an Alabama college. Scheduled for March 15, 2025, this event features a 5K run, a "Sleep In 5K" virtual challenge, and various family-friendly activities, including free treats, a DJ, inflatables, and face painting. Proceeds from the race support scholarships for Jefferson State Community College students in need.
