Green Turkey Trot 5K

The 2024 Green Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile, organized by the Green Professionals Association, will take place on Thanksgiving morning in Uniontown, Ohio. This annual event features a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile fun run/walk, with a cap of 650 participants. Proceeds from the race support college scholarships for Green High School seniors, totaling $41,000 awarded to date.

Participants can register in advance for discounted rates and will receive a long-sleeve performance shirt if pre-registered. The event also encourages donations of canned goods for the Akron-Canton Foodbank, with prizes awarded for top finishers in various age categories.
