Geode Challenge Races

The Geode Challenge Races, held annually at Geode State Park in Danville, IA, features three trail race distances: 5K, 12K, and 25K. This event supports the Friends of Geode, funding projects like the renovation of the Beach Concession House. Participants can enjoy scenic trails with diverse terrain, including hills and creek crossings.

Runners and walkers are welcome, and dogs can join on leashes. All finishers receive a geode, with unique handmade plaques awarded to top finishers in each category.
