Furry Friends Run

The Furry Friends event is an annual 5K run/walk organized by the Humane Society of Jefferson County, aimed at supporting homeless pets. Scheduled for May 17, 2025, at Jefferson County Fair Park, the event features a timed 5K run, an untimed 5K walk, and a KidK obstacle run/walk designed for children aged 1 to 6. Participants can enjoy a family- and dog-friendly atmosphere with activities such as dog lure courses, agility challenges, and various vendors.
