Fast & Furriest Run

The Fast & Furriest 5K Run/Walk, organized by the Great Lakes Bay Animal Society, is set to take place on May 3, 2025, at Midland City Forest in Midland, MI. This family-friendly event features two chip-timed races: one for participants with dogs and another for those without. The course is stroller-friendly, and children aged 6 and under can participate for free.

Runners and walkers will receive event t-shirts and goodies if they register by April 21, 2025. Proceeds from the event will support the care of animals in transition to their forever homes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
