Eugene Curnow Trail Marathon
The Eugene Curnow Trail Marathon is a challenging 26.2-mile race held on rugged woodland trails, running from the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth, MN, to Carlton, MN. Established in 1992 as a tribute to Voyageur volunteers, the marathon incorporates a segment of the Minnesota Voyageur Trail Ultramarathon. Renamed in 2013 to honor trail running legend Eugene Curnow, the event has gained popularity among runners.
Participants can enjoy scenic views, including overlooks of Duluth and Lake Superior. The race emphasizes community spirit and supports the growth of trail running in northern Minnesota. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
