Empower Backyard Ultra

Empower Backyard Ultra is a unique running event taking place at Countryside YMCA in Lebanon, Ohio. This "last runner standing" race challenges participants to complete a 4.1667-mile loop every hour until only one runner remains. The event features both day and night courses, with the night course utilizing a safe, traffic-free bike path.

Runners must adhere to strict rules, including being present at the starting corral when the bell rings for each loop. The winner receives automatic entry into the Ohio Backyard Ultra 2025 and has the chance to qualify for the Big’s Backyard Ultra World Championship.
