DC New Year's 10k

The DC New Year's 10k is a scenic running event taking place on January 1, 2025, in the heart of Washington, DC, near the Nation's Capital. Participants can enjoy a flat course along Hains Point, with both 5k and 10k options available. The event welcomes walkers and strollers, and while no shirts are provided, all finishers receive a medal.

A virtual race option is also offered for those unable to attend in person. Proceeds benefit City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing animals from overcrowded shelters.
