Cutthroat Classic
The Cutthroat Classic is an inspiring and popular 11-mile trail run set in the breathtaking North Cascades, following the Pacific Crest Trail over Cutthroat Pass. This challenging singletrack course begins at Rainy Pass and features a gradual climb to an elevation of 6,835 feet before descending to Cutthroat Lake. The event is limited to 400 participants and typically sells out quickly.
Runners can self-seed into six waves based on their expected finish times. Kids aged 17 and under can participate for free with registration. Proceeds from the event support year-round trail operations in the Methow Valley. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
