Carderock Half

The Carderock Half is a running event taking place at the Carderock Recreation Area, featuring a fast and flat course ideal for personal records. Participants can choose from a half marathon, 10k, or 5k, with options for both in-person and virtual participation. The event supports Project Blackbird, a non-profit focused on mental health awareness.

Runners receive a finisher's medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. The course runs along the C&O Canal path, with water stations available throughout.
