Cape Fear 24 Hour

The Cape Fear 24 Hour is an endurance running event taking place in Lillington, NC, on a certified 0.59-mile asphalt loop surrounding local baseball fields. Participants can run as far or as little as they wish, with ample support including a fully stocked aid station offering a variety of foods and drinks. The course is mostly flat, with park lights illuminating the area at night.

Runners are encouraged to wear costumes, with a special award for the most miles run in one. Proceeds from the event benefit Buddy Backpack of Harnett County. Registration is required by early September for a guaranteed shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
