Birdie Derby

The Birdie Derby, formerly known as the Berbee Derby, is a popular Thanksgiving Day running event in Fitchburg, WI. It features a variety of races including a 10K run, 5K run/walk, and a Kids Dash for ages 2-6. Participants can also opt for virtual versions of the races.

The event supports the local community by donating 100% of proceeds to the Tri 4 Schools' Grants 4 Schools program, which funds educational initiatives in Dane County. Registration includes a race bib, a long-sleeved shirt or crewneck, a winter hat, and access to pre-race refreshments and professional timing.
