Because of the Brave 5K

The Because of the Brave 5K is a special event held on Memorial Day to honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the United States. Participants are required to carry a 2’x3’ American flag throughout the course, which is designed as a non-timed run/walk, allowing individuals to set their own pace. The event takes place at the American Village in Montevallo, Alabama, with a portion of the entry fees donated to the Alabama National Cemetery and the American Village.
