Beaver Fire Tower Half Marathon

The Beaver Fire Tower Half Marathon is an exciting running event set in the scenic Cookson Hills Wildlife Management Area. Scheduled for February 1, 2025, this challenging half marathon features an out-and-back course with approximately 2,200 feet of elevation gain on gravel and dirt roads. Participants will enjoy stunning panoramic views as they ascend to the highest point in the refuge.

The event is limited to 70 participants to ensure a sustainable experience, and all runners will receive finisher medals and have the chance to win awards for the top three finishers. Post-race festivities include food and fellowship. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
