Beat Beethoven

The Beat Beethoven 5k is a unique running event that supports the Augusta Choral Society. Participants race along a scenic, relatively flat out-and-back course on the North Augusta Greeneway trail, cheered on by singers from the society. The challenge is to complete the race in under 35 minutes, which is the duration of Beethoven's 5th Symphony.

Those who succeed will receive a voucher for a concert in the ACS 2024-2025 season. Costumes inspired by music or Beethoven are encouraged, and all participants will receive a T-shirt at packet pickup. The event has been postponed to Spring 2025.
