Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet
The Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet is a unique running event that celebrates Dakota culture and traditions along Bassett Creek, known as Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ. Participants can choose to run or walk solo or in teams for 6 or 12 hours, completing as many 5-mile loops as possible. The event also features a Little Loopet for kids and a 1 Loop Fun Run/Walk for all ages.
Starting and finishing at the Trailhead, the event includes an Indigenous People’s festival with Native vendors, artists, and cultural activities, fostering a deeper connection with the land and community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
